East and West: One Spirit

National Lutheran Choir to Receive Wittenberg Award and host the State Symphony Capella of Russia !

Join us for this festive occasion as we welcome our guests, the 50-voice State Symphony Capella of Russia Choir, and for the presentation of the Wittenberg Award from the Luther Institute. This world-renowned ensemble is directed by Valeri Polyansky. Capella is known for their flawless vocal and choral techniques and, of course, the famous Russian low basses.

This historic concert will feature each choir performing sets of their own music (Russian and American). The program concludes with both choirs singing works by Rachmaninoff and Chesnokov, together with one spirit.

This is the State Symphony Capella of Russia's first tour to the United States.
