Sing in the Festival Choir!

We are looking for singers who would like to participate in the Festival Choir as a part of our Summer Institute.

The Festival Choir serves as the “laboratory ensemble” for the Institute—meaning you’ll be right at the center of the music-making, collaborating with conductors as they refine their craft.

This is a great opportunity learn from our Guest Clinicians, and our Masterclass Conductors all while learning a little more about the process conductors go through when working with a choir.

The Experience

• Rehearsals Monday, June 15th and Tuesday, June 16th from 7:15–8:45 PM

• Choral Evensong performance Wednesday, June 17th at 7:30PM (call time 7PM)

• Music performed includes: Sacred Place(Alex Berko), excerpts from Dixit Dominus(Marianna Martines), Psalm 23(Bobby McFerrin), and other selections.

• Optional dinners ($15/meal) available to Festival Choir participants each day beforehand on Augsburg University’s Campus in Minneapolis.

• A total of 4 continuing education hours will be awarded to participants in the Festival Choir.

• Free on campus parking for all participants.
